Dear Friends,

We have just returned to Toccoa from our fall missions conference tours in Western Pennsylvania.  Thank you for your prayers as we shared with many people what God is doing in Burkina Faso.  We rejoice that we have many more people on our support team as a result of our tours.  Our sincerest thanks to all of you who welcomed us to your churches and homes!

Airline reservations have now been made for our return to Burkina on Jan. 19^th.  We are in regular contact with our colleagues in Burkina and are looking forward to our return so that we can join God in what He is doing there.  In the meantime, we have a couple of speaking engagements lined up and Debbi will be attending a conference in Colorado Springs this month. The Pierce side of the family is having a reunion here in Georgia over Thanksgiving and we are looking forward to having all of our children with us for Christmas.

Thank you for praying for our son, Daniel, to find a job.  We are thankful to report that he and his wife are moving to Philadelphia where Daniel will be working in food service management at a Christian college.  Sarah is very busy as a Senior at Geneva College and is working many hours a week at Starbuck’s.  Elizabeth has made a good adjustment at Toccoa Falls College and is learning a lot and doing well in her classes. We are grateful that all of our children are experiencing God’s blessings on their lives.  Thanks for praying!

In addition to the above, here are some praises and requests for your intercession:

Praise the Lord for three new Christian radio stations that will soon be operating in Burkina, as well as for several new properties that are being acquired for starting Christian schools.

Pray for the renovations that are underway at the new Family Life Center in Ouaga 2000 where we’ll be living and ministering when we return to Burkina.  Pray especially for the Holy Spirit’s anointing on this new ministry and for spiritual fruit in that needy upper class neighborhood.

Pray for souls among the Dafing people group.  Steve will be evangelizing new villages and he is in need of your prayers as he goes into enemy territory.  We will keep you posted about dates later on.
